Alan B. Patterson, MD is an experienced and compassionate OB-GYN practicing in Coral Springs, Florida. Dr. Patterson treats women of all ages and provides a wide range of services including delivery and pregnancy care, ultrasounds, birth control, pap smears, and treatments for osteoporosis, HPV, incontinence, and fibroids. Dr. Patterson is known for the gentle and personalized care he offers to his patients, developing relationships to help them lead healthier lives. Dr. Patterson completed his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine before serving his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital. He’s certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society.

Our Cancellation & No Show Policy
Please do not request an appointment through the online booking tool if you do not plan to attend your appointment. Dr. Patterson sets time aside for each and every patient to ensure that they receive his full attention and the best possible care. When patients no-show, this removes valuable time that may be used to see another patient. If you do not show up to your appointment at your scheduled date/time or you do not cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance, you will be assessed a $35 no-show fee.
If you book an online appointment online, you must call the office 24 hours prior to the appointment to confirm it. You must speak with the office staff to complete your patient profile prior to the appointment or the appointment will be cancelled. If you book an appointment the night before, you must call the office the next morning as soon as it opens to confirm your appointment to complete your profile, or the appointment will be cancelled. Patient Discount
We are offering a discount for self-pay patients for annual wellness exams! The exam includes a pelvic exam, a pap smear and breast exam. Please call or book online today.
Dr. Patterson does hormone therapy for pre and post-menopausal women. He offers herbal, prescription and bioidentical hormones.
At Dr. Patterson's practice, we accept most major insurance plans. Dr. Patterson is a Cigna Tier 1 provider, so patient participation in employer-sponsored Cigna group plans with OAP or PPO coverage may result in lower copayments or coinsurance levels for covered services. Here is a list of some of the plans we accept. Please contact our office if you do not see your insurance provider listed. We do not take any Medicaid plans at all.
You have a choice which type of care provider you want when you are pregnant, a large group which may or may not have lower level providers in addition to doctors who do deliveries or a solo OB MD with experience!
